Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Mary Jo began her walk with Christ during her college years at the University of Nebraska. In 1988, she and her husband Tom moved to Rhode Island to help plant a church, where they raised their four children and are now proud grandparents of three.

Mary Jo has a heart for discipleship and encouragement and has served among children, college students and adults over the years. She currently serves on the women’s Bible study team at Grace Harbor.

Beyond church life, Mary Jo is a master seamstress who founded a nonprofit sewing group to bless local schools, hospitals and nursing homes. She’s also active in the community, having served in leadership roles with local civic organizations. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking, golfing, sewing, gardening, event planning and mowing the lawn.
